ST. CATHERINE’S CONVENT. Brisk business was done yesterday afternoon and evening for the first day of the annual garden fete held on the convent grounds by the St. Catherine’s Dominican Convent. The fete will be continued this afternoon and evening. Those in charge of the stalls were: Produce stall, Mesdames J. Leonard, J. Kelly, J. Pasco, P. Prendergast and W. Stott; Central plain and fancy stall, Mesdames R. Waterston, D. Lynch, A. Mahoney, E. Scully, J. Hickey and J. Moylan; North fancy stall, Mesdames D. Ferry and A. M. Shand; assistants, Mesdames J. Scully, J. Small, F. Ford, Rodan, H. Mulholland, J. O’Neill, and Misses E. Marchant and C. Hannan; tea rooms, Mesdames J. Murfitt, J. Keppel, Carmody, G. Ashley, Sheehan and J.
