SLIP ON RAILWAY
ENGINE SLIGHTLY DAMAGED.

Tauranga, November 7.
The Paeroa-Tauranga train ran into a small slip of rock at Karangahape this morning. The engine was slightly damaged, but as two engines were on the train the damaged engine was pulled on to a siding. The slip was soon cleared and on arrival of an engine from Waihi the train proceeded to Tauranga, arriving two and a-half hours late.
