CAPE TOWN TO LONDON

ATTEMPT TO BREAK RECORD. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, November 5. Flying Officer David Llewellyn and Mrs Jill Wyndham, who are endeavouring to set up a new record for a flight from Cape Town to London, left Bulawayo this evening for Livingstone after having made a forced landing this morning at Palapye Road to take in petrol. They hope to fly from Wadi Haifa to London in one hop.
