FORMAL INQUIRY ORDERED.

(Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 6. A formal inquiry has been ordered by the Minister of Marine into the circumstances of the Waipahi striking a submerged rock at Pencarrow on the night of October 30. A preliminary inquiry has been completed by the Superintendent of Marine.
