NEGRO SHOT
SEIZED FROM POLICE BY MOB. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) New York, October 14. A message from White Bluff (Tennessee) says that Baxter Bell, aged 45. a negro, who was accused of slapping a white woman, was seized from the police by a mob to-day and taken several miles from the town, shot in the chest and killed. His body was thrown into a thicket.
