UNUSUAL DISEASE
LITTLE GIRL’S DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, September 12. Evidence that the disease responsible was most unusual and could not be diagnosed was given by a pathologist at the inquest on Noeline Alma Maud Staples, aged eight, who died at Lower Hutt from a cause then unknown. A doctor said that death was due to acute inflammation behind the ear drums and at the root of the nose. A verdict was returned accordingly.
