ELECTRICAL MISHAPS
INSTRUCTION FOR CHILDREN. CONFERENCE’S RECOMMENDATION. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, September 12. The Electric Power Boards’ Association conference decided to-day to recommend the Education Department to take the necessary steps to ensure regular and systematic instruction being given to scholars throughout the Dominion with a view to minimizing electrical accidents. A remit to ask the Government to consider a subsidy to reticulate sparsely developed areas was lost.
