RED CROSS WORK

TRAINING AGAINST CHEMICAL WARFARE. (Per United Press Association.) , Wellington, August 17. It was announced to-day by the Dominion chairman of the New Zealand Red Cross Society, Mr J. Abel, that the society has, after communication with the British Red Cross Society, ordered from England masks and other special equipment to enable a course of study to be given to senior Red Cross trainees in methods of first aid in defence against chemical warfare. It is proposed that only the senior students shall take this course, which will be put on a regular footing next year.
