RETURN HOME. TO CONFER WITH MR LYONS. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, August 10. The Hon. Robert Masters, M.L.C., Minister of Industries and Commerce, said to-day that the hold-up of the Wanganella might result in the Prime Minister and Mrs Forbes arriving in Wellington instead of Auckland, but it would give him an opportunity of conferring with Mr J. A. Lyons, Prime Minister of Australia, who would reach Sydney on Monday. Mr Forbes had cabled yesterday to Mr Lyons stating he would meet Mr Lyons in Sydney. Mr Masters said that Parliament would meet on a date to be fixed. The legislation was ready for the session. Mr Masters said, regarding his conversation yesterday with Mr Lyons, that Mr Lyons had always adopted the attitude that matters affecting departments should be left to the Ministers concerned. There would be preliminary discussions with Sir Henry Gullett when lie arrived in the near future and after that the ministerial delegation would be sent from'Australia.
