JAPANESE FLOUR
PURCHASE BY SOVIET. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rcc. 6.40 p.m.) Tokio, August 10. The newspaper Yomiuri reports that the Soviet has contracted for 400.000 sacks of Japanese flour as part payment in kind for tlie Sino-Eastern railway. Further orders are anticipated. This largely accounts for the recent rise in Japanese wheat and flour.
