(British Official Wireless.)

(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, August 9. A feature this year of the usual heavy passenger traffic to Scotland for the “12th,” the opening of the grouse season, is the increase in the numbers travelling by night. One train leaving London to-night will be run in six parts and carrying 400 passengers in the first class and 700 in the third class sleeping berths, while another tiain will leave in three parts to accommodate the extra traffic. Large numbers of travellers are taking their motor cars with them in vans coupled to the coaches.
