CHINESE FINED
IDENTIFIED BY FINGERPRINTS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 22. Ah Hong, a fruiterer, and Chan King who is also a fruiterer, were each fined £l5 by the Magistrate, Mr Stilwell, in default one month, for being unlawfully on premises used for smoking opium. The case was a sequel to a raid on premises in Haining street early last Saturday morning. Detective-Sergeant Revell said that since arrested the fingerprints showed that Ah Hong was identical with Hi Hung who was fined £5O for keeping a common gaming house in Wellington in 1933, and Chan King was identical with Chin Hong who was fined £25 in 1930 in Auckland for possessing opium.
