OWNERS MAY REACH AGREEMENT. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) • London, July 21. Mr Walter Runciman, speaking at a luncheon on board the Normandie, foreshadowed the possibility of an agreement between the owners of the Normandie and the Queen Mary to avoid unnecessary competition, which he declared would be foolish. It was most essential that the schedule from 1936 onwards should ensure that the vessels would never simultaneously be in the same port, but always running in the opposite direction.
