HOPKINS AND BLOMFIELD DRAW. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, July 22. Making his first appearance in Auckland, the English wrestler George Hopkins drew with “Lofty” Blomfield in a professional heavyweight contest, the decision being given on points after each contestant had secured a fall.

Hopkins took the first fall in the fourth round with a press after weakening his opponent with a series of headlock throws. Blomfield evened in the seventh, feigning he was dazed by his opponent’s throws, until he caught the latter napping and dumped him to complete with a body press. LURICH AND DUALA DRAW.
