PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to the provisions of “The Rabbit Nuisance Act 1928” and “The Rating Act 1925” the New River Hundred Rabbit Board intends on MONDAY, August 5, 1935, to make and levy a general rate of threepence halfpenny (3Jd) an acre on all rateable property in the district for the year commencing on the Ist day of April, 1935, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1936; and that said rate will be payable in one sum on the 31st day of August, 1935. The Rate Book is now open for inspection at the office of the Wallace County Council, Otautau, during office hours. TIMBER RATE: 1935-1936. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that this Council made on Friday, 19th July, 1935, in accordance with the provisions of the “Finance Act, 1927,” (No. 2) and notice duly given under Section 28 of the said Act, a General Rate of threesixteenths of a penny per hundred feet board measure on Timber so converted, from the log into sawn timber, from the Ist April, 1935, to 31st March, 1936, payable in one sum at the office of the Wallace County Council, Otautau, on the Ist April, 1936.
