LIMEHILLS NOTES

EUCHRE. (From Our Correspondent.) On the final night of the Euchre tournament conducted by the Limehills Women’s Institute there was a large attendance. Prizes were won by (ladies) Mrs R. Boyd 1, Miss G. Cameron 2; (men), Mr W. Crowe 1, Master H. Hammond 2. The aggregate for five nights was won by Mrs S. Payne and Mr T. Scully. Supper and a short dance followed. Sale of Work. On Thursday, June 20, a sale of work and produce was held by the members of the Centre Bush Catholic Church. Father O’Neil introduced Mr P. A. de la Perrelle who expressed pleasure at being present and at the large array of goods on the stalls. He then declared the function open. The following were the stall-holders: Fancy stall: Mesdames M. J. Swale, J. Langford and M. Kean; plain stall: Mesdames D. McHugh, P. Kean and W. Moylan; produce: Mesdames M. Crowe, A. E. Ward, J. Murphy and H. Doherty; sweets: Misses A. Swale and A. Langford; dips: Mrs E. J. Crowe and Miss J. Swale; tea rooms: Mesdames M. Lavelle, J. F. Kean, P. Joyce, Misses M. Kelly and M. Casserly.
