TWO LIVES LOST

AEROPLANES IN COLLISION. DEAD MAN AND PARACHUTE. (United Press Assn.— Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.20 p.m.) London, May' 2. The Paris correspondent of the Daily Mail says the dead body of a French airman floated gently to earth with a parachute after an aeroplane in which he was flying over Chateau Roux at a height of 3500 feet was cut in two in a tollision with another machine. 'He was killed as the machines met. A companion leapt out unhurt, but was killed when he crashed into the ground owing to the parachute not opening. The occupant of the other machine, who was flying solo, was thrown out of thi cockpit and parachuted safely to the ground.
