BLENHEIM WEDDINGS

TWELVE MARRIAGES SINCE GOOD FRIDAY. RECORD FOR MANY YEARS. (Per United Press Association.) Blenheim, April 23. Blenheim did its best during Easter to emulate the mass marriage system introduced by Signor Mussolini, except that there were no bonuses and the ceremonies did not take place in the market place. However, the churches were kept unusually busy. Twelve couples have been married since Good Friday, with more to follow. This is a record for many years.
