KING FUAD’S ADVISER

RESIGNATION ANNOUNCED. GREAT RELIEF FELT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.25 p.m.) Cairo, April 23. Ibrashi Pasha, King Fuad’s personal adviser and Director of the Royal Estates, has resigned and left the Court following representations by the Premier, Nissim, and the _ British High Commissioner, Sir Miles Lampson, which were the • climax to a growing public clamour against Ibrashi, who allegedly wielded enormous influence in administrative affairs. He was accused of virtually arrogating Royal authority and issuing arbitrary instructions to the Cabinet. His resignation was received with immense relief. Cabinet will now be able to reorganize the administration and curtail the activities of the Wafd, which is as antimonarchial and revolutionary as ever.
