VISIT TO AMERICA
FEDERAL PRIME MINISTER.
(United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 9.15 p.m.) Melbourne, Feb. 19. The Prime Minister, Mr J. A. Lyons, announced that he intended after his visit to London to return via the United States for the purpose of official discussions with representatives of the United States Government. It is believed that Mr Lyons will state _ Australia’s intention to use a tariff in adjusting its trade balances with foreign countries which do not buy freely from Australia.
