ROSE BOWL MATCH. SOUTHLAND BEAT RIVERTON. In a match for the ladies’ rose bowl, Southland (Mesdames Smith, Cooper Holliman and Gavin, skip) successfully resisted a challenge from a Riverton rink (Mesdames Brewster, Evans, Hogg and Patrick, skip) by 20 points to 10. GEORGETOWN TEAM. The Georgetown team to meet Southland No. 1 on the Southland green to-day is as follows:—Timpany, Woods, Drummond, Donald (s); McLean, S. Sefton, Palmer, Sefton (s); Barlow, Pullar, White, Marshall (s); Coornbes, Haydon, Anderson, McKenzie (s); Murray, Mehaffey, Stewart, Jones (s). Reserves: Glass, D. Robinson., J. Robinson.
