MEETING OF ATHLETIC CLUB. (From Our Correspondent.) A meeting of the Ryal Bush Athletic Club was.held on Wednesday evening, the president, Mr W. Bruce presiding over a full attendance of members. Ar- ' rangements for the sports meeting to be held on Saturday afternoon were finalized and this meeting promises to be a conspicuous success. The secretary then read a letter from the Drummond Club protesting against the Ryal Bush Club’s holding the meeting on January 5. The secretary was instructed to write to the Drummond Club, pointing out that there were no delegates from the Drummond Club at the meeting at Invercargill when Ryal Bush were allotted the two dates, January 5 and 26. After a short discussion regarding the two trophies, one for the most points in running, the other for the most points in cycling events, which the club intends to present, the meeting closed.
