SANDERS CUP CONTEST
BLUE RIBAND OF YACHTING LARGE CROWDS AT ISLAND FIRST RACE TO-MORROW The 1935 Sanders Cup . Contest to commence in Paterson Inlet to-morrow will be witnessed by hundreds of visitors attracted not only by the sport of sailing, but also by the wonderful scenic beauties of Stewart Island. Everything possible has been done to make the contest one of the best that has yet been held,#and in this connection, committees in Invercargill and at the Island have worked untiringly for weeks past. All the crews competing, with the exception of two of the Wellington men who go over to-day, are at Halfmoon Bay, and only blue skies and blue seas are required to crown the efforts of the organizers with success.
