TURNBULL DEFEATS

BOUSSUS

MISS ROUND IMPROVES

(United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 10.30 p.m.) Melbourne, January 8 The Australian tennis championships were continued to-day. Playing relentless, vigorous tennis Turnbull overwhelmed the French Davis Cup player Boussus in three straight sets. Turnbull’s powerful service paved the way for dashing net attacks which won him many points. Boussus game seemed weak after Turnbull s hurricane tactics.
