ABYSSINIAN TERRITORY

ALLEGED ITALIAN ADVANCE. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Geneva, December 26. The Abyssinian Note, declaring that the situation becomes increasingly serious, alleges that the Italians are advancing into Abyssinian territory and building a road towards Adou Gerlsgubi, over which Italian planes carried out a reconnaissance, apparently as a prelude to a further attack and also the occupation of Afdub. AGGRESSION DENIED REASON FOR FLIGHTS. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Rome, December 26. Officials deny that the Italians have advanced and point out that Afdub has been in Italian control for years. They declare that the reconnaissance flights are necessitated by the massing of Abyssinians, and also deny any intention of taking the initiative. Italy is ready to settle the boundary question when the demand for reparations for the Ualual incident has been fulfilled.
