Indlen, Melbourne, May 10. GENERAL NOTES. The launch Te Moana left yesterday with passengers and cargo for Stewart Island. She sailed at 3.20 p.m. The coastal steamer Parera arrived from Wellington early yesterday morning. She discharged genefal cargo and after loading for the north sailed in the late afternoon for Dunedin and North Island ports. The Union Company’s steamer Waikouaiti, which arrived from Melbourne on Sunday morning, yesterday worked general cargo arid sailed late last night for Dunedin, The same company’s passenger steamer Maheno, another Sunday arrival, (from Wellington) loaded for Australia yesterdaycompleted and sailed at 11.30 p.m. for Melbourne. The Breeze is due from Wellington on Saturday and sails for Dunedin the same da, ?he Maheno leaves Melbourne on Saturday, December 22, for Bluff via Milford Sound. She is due on the 27th and sails the same day for Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. , , The Remuera has left London for Wellington and Auckland. She is due here about January 19. The Matson Line steamer Mariposa, from San Francisco, has cleared Los Angeles for Auckland, Sydiley and Melbourne, via Island ports. The vessel is due at Auckland on December 28 and she will leave for Sydney the same day. In continuation of her voyage from London and Southampton to Auckland and Wellington the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Akaroa is reported to have cleared Curacao. She is due at Auckland on December 30. The Royal Mail liner Niagara, which left Vancouver on December 5, is scheduled to arrive at Auckland on Sunday, December 23, and to sail for Sydney at five o’clock the following evening. Arrangements have been completed for the Cunard White Star Line to act as general agerits for Imperial Airways throughout United States of America and on its trans-Atlantic liners, which means that travellers from United States of America to Europe wishing to complete the journey by air after disembarking at Cherbourg or Southampton can reserve aeroplane accommodation when purchasing ocean tickets. It will thus be possible for passengers to inland points in Europe to save a great deal of time after landing, also it will be possible for trans-Atlantic passengers en route for Africa. India, or the East to journey by air on arrival in Great Britain.
