USE OF WIRELESS. DUKE’S SPEECH CLEARLY HEARD. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, December 7. At Barrow-in-Furness the 24,000 tons liner Orion was successfully launched by wireless, the ceremony being performed by the Duke of Gloucester in Australia, 11,000 miles distant. The Duke’s speech could be clearly heard. The vessel will in a few months begin journeys across the world in the Eng-land-Australia service.
