W.C.T.U.

REST ROOM AT SHOW. The Women’s Christian Temperance Union has for many years catered for visitors to the Summer Show by providing a rest room which has been a boon to women and children. This year the rest room will again be provided in the Drill Hall under the able supervision of Mrs Richards, Mrs Wilkinson, and Nurse Dow and helpers. Full provision is made to entertain young children while their parents see the show, and cots, bassinets, and cribs are provided for the babies. A comfortable lounge is awaiting any ladies who want to rest, also a retiring room where mothers may in privacy attend to their little ones. The ladies of the W.C.T.U. do all they possibly can to assist anyone and no charge is made for the use of the rest room or minding the. babies or young children left to their care. A parcel office is run in conjunction with the rest room and for a very small fee all coats and parcels may be left in safety. The spacious and well-appointed tea rooms, under the supervision of Miss McCallum, should again prove a boon to the hundreds of men and women seeking a rest and a refreshing cup of tea.
