AN APPEAL

CHILDREN’S HEALTH CAMP. EFFORT TO CLEAR DEBT. To the Editor. Sir,—The Health Camp committee is very grateful to you for the help you have already given in bringing the activities of the Southland Children’s Health Camp Association before your readers. We are now launching a campaign for at least £3OO in order to open the camp buildings at Omaui free of debt, and we would be grateful would you acknowledge any subscriptions sent in to you or to our secretary in the columns of The Southland Times. We would appeal to all who are interested in the children of our province, and especially to those who are able to give their own children a holiday at Christmas time, to think kindly of the number of less fortunate and more needy boys and girls in Southland who never get away for a change, and to help us in our endeavour to provide a suitable holiday camp for them. I am, etc., JOHN C. CHISHOLM, Chairman of Executive. [We will be pleased to receive and acknowledge subscriptions for this object.—Ed. S.T.]
