COMMONS DEBATE NEXT WEEK. MOTION FAVOURING ADOPTION. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, December 6. Indian constitutional reforms will be debated in the House of Commons and in the House of Lords next week on a Government resolution in favour of accepting the Joint Committee’s recommendations as a basis for the revision of the Indian constitution and expressing the view that it is expedient that a Bill on the general lines of the report should be introduced. The resolution in the House of Commons has been tabled in the names of Mr Ramsay MacDonald, Mr Stanley Baldwin, Sir John Simon, Sir Samuel Hoare and Mr F. A. Butler, and the debate will open on Monday and continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. Four days will be devoted to the House of Lords debate, which will begin on Wednesday.
