PUBLICANS FINED.
(Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, December 7. Stated by counsel to be the first to be charged under that particular section of the Licensing Act since it became law in 1881, six hotel licensees were charged to-day with being in possession of bottle labels not having printed thereon in plain and legible characters the words, “Bottled in New Zealand,” and the name of the bottler. Each was fined the minimum of £2O.
