TASMAN FLYERS

PROSECUTIONS TO BE HEARD TO-DAY. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 7. The Tasman airmen Whitehead and Nicholls will be prosecuted in the Magistrate’s Court to-morrow on three charges alleging breaches of the Air Navigation Act: . (1) Flying an unregistered aircraft from New South Wales to New Zea(2) Flying an aircraft which was not properly certified; and (3) Flying an aircraft not carrying proper documents. The airmen arrived to-day from Wellington, where they were informed that they would be prosecuted. On arrival they went to the Police Station and it was arranged for the charges to be heard to-morrow. They intend to do about a week’s work on the plane and later to fly to Rotorua for Christmas.
