SCHOOL COMMITTEE MEETING.

(From Our Correspondent.) At the monthly school committee meeting held recently, Mr M. Hishon (chairman) presided. The headmaster reported that the present roll number was 100, the average attendance for the period ending November 23, being 87.7. An epidemic of influenza had seriously affected the attendance during the month. Minor playground improvements had been attended to. Arrangements were made for the purchase of prize books.
