PRICE-CUTTING IN AUCKLAND. (Per United Press Association:) Auckland, December 6. The protracted bread price war in Auckland has been ended by an agreement which will be operative on Saturday. It has been endorsed by the Bakers Union and simultaneously a new industrial agreement will give the employees increased pay and improved conditions. The new minimum prices for a 21b loaf are—cash over counter sd, cash delivered 5Jd, booked delivered 6d.
