YOUNG MAN’S DEATH. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 22. A verdict that the deceased took his life by shooting himself while in a state of mental depression was returned by the Coroner (Mr Gilbertson) at an inquest on William Henry Dutton, aged 17. WATERSIDE WORKER INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, November 22. Although he fell down the hold of the Waitaki this afternoon, Gersham Langley, a waterside worker, was fortunate enough to escape with minor injuries, and after receiving treatment at the hospital was able to leave for his home in South Dunedin. INJURED BY FALL. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, November 22. The first accident since work commenced on the construction of the new Post Office occurred this afternoon when Clement Bright, an employee of the Fletcher Construction Company, fell from a considerable height, suffering an injury to his back which is not of a serious nature. . The injured man is single, aged 32.
