ELECTRICAL STORM
LIGHTNING KILLS TWO MEN. (United Press Assn— Telegraph Copyright.) Melbourne, November 8. During a storm which swept the Horsham district lightning struck and killed Johann Gross, aged 50, and a man named Voight, aged about 30, and seriously injured a third man who was sheltering under a tree. A terrific thunderstorm swept the Mallee and Wimmera districts, 'piere were cloudbursts at several places. Crops were flattened and houses and shops flooded. Four women and two children were injured by flying iron and glass. DOWNPOUR AT ADELAIDE SOLDIERS’ HOMES FLOODED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Adelaide, November 8. Torrential rain flooded the city and suburbs. Creeks from the hills overflowed and low-lying suburbs were m_ undated. In soldiers’ homes in Wayville West the water is two to three feet deep.
