SILVER JUBILEE NEXT YEAR. REVIEW OF FLEET PROPOSED. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, November 7. Arrangements for the celebrations in connection with next year s silver jubilee of the King’s accession to the throne are under active consideration. Sir Bolton Eyres-Monsell stated in the House of Commons that as part of them the King hoped to review the Fleet at Spithead on July 16, 1935, or should the weather that day be unsuitable, on the 17th. In addition to the home and part reserve fleets certain units of the Mediterranean Fleet would probably take part in the review. His Majesty, in the yacht Victoria and Albert, would lead the fleet to sea for exercises on the day following the review. __
