The Union Company’s cargo steamer Wingatui is now due from Dunedin to-morrow. After working general cargo she sails in the evening to return to the north, via Dunedin. The same company’s intercolonial steamer Waikouaiti was expected to finish working late last night and to sail early this morning for Dunedin. The Waikouaiti is expected to return to Bluff from Lyttelton on November 19. She sails the same day for Sydney direct. The Canadian Highlander left Montreal last Friday for Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, and Melbourne. She is due at Auckland about December 13. The Port Hobart, which left Wellington on September 28 for London, via Cape Horn and Dakar, has arrived at London. In continuation of her voyage from Auckland to London, the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Fordsdale is reported to have cleared Curacao. She was despatched from Auckland on October 5. Captain E. R. Lowe has taken command of the Wingatui, relieving Captain S. Hewitt, who has gone to Auckland for further orders. Captain W. A. Gray, of the Waipiata, is at present on holiday leave in Wellington. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received advice that under charter to the A. and A. Line,the City of Glasgow is to leave New York on November 22, the Benholm on December 15, and the Ardenvohr on January 8. for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. The Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Auckland, has received advice that the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Campbell was despatched from New York on October 31 for Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is scheduled to reach Auckland about December 3. A. S. Paterson and Company, Limited, have received advice that the steamer Treherbert left Seychelles Islands on October 29 with a cargo of guano for discharge at Auckland and Wanganui. She is due at Auckland about the first week in December. Having completed repairs to the Mel-bourne-Tasmania cable in Bass Strait the cable steamer Recorder is now in the Tasman Sea repairing the Sydney-Auckland cable, the New Zealand end of which she transferred from Wellington to Muriwal Beach in April, 1932. The date of the vessel’s return to Auckland is uncertain. The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner lonic, which is scheduled to arrive at Wellington from Southampton and London on November 14. will unload her cargo at Wellington and Auckland. Afterwards the vessel will load at Southern ports, and she will then return to Auckland to complete loading, being scheduled to leave Auckland for London at daybreak on December 8.
