BRITISH TEAM’S VISIT. SUGGESTED ITINERARY. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, November 6. The itinerary for the British golf team’s visit to New Zealand was submitted to a meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council to-night. It provides for the team going straight down to Mount Cook for a couple of days upon arrival in New Zealand, thence to Dunedin where the first match will be played on Saturday, December 15, and thence to Timaru, Christchurch and Wellington, arriving at Rotorua on December 24. They will play a match there on Boxing Day and then travel to New Plymouth, via Waitomo Caves. The team will play at New Plymouth, Wanganui and Manawatu and leave Palmerston North for Auckland on January 3, playing a match against an all New Zealand team at Auckland on Saturday and Monday, January 5 and 7, the singles on Saturday and foursomes on Monday. The- programme is subject to the dates fitting in with the date of departure of the Englishmen, of which the council has not yet been definitely advised.
