YOUNG MAORI
FURTHER REMANDED ON MURDER CHARGE. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, October 27. Puhipi Rikhi, a young Maori who is charged with the murder of Paui Henare Riwhi at Waitemarama on September 24, was further remanded by Mr Wyvern Wilson this morning on the application of the police to appear at Rawene on November 23. Counsel for the accused consented. The charge arises out of an elleged altercation between relatives concerning the ownership of land.
