ATTACKED BY LION
PORTUGUESE JUDGE KILLED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) Cape Town, October 25. Beira, a Portuguese East African town, is in mourning as the result of a popular judge, Bazilio de Oliveira, being tom to death by an infuriated wounded lion at Mambone. The lion sprang on the judge as he approached it under the impression that it was dead. The lion, which had been wounded two days previously, leapt on the judge before he could fire.
