MURDER IN SYDNEY
SUBURBAN SHOPKEEPER SHOT. (United Press Assn. —Telegraph Copyright) (Rec. 11.15 p.m.) Sydney, September 2. Ignoring a demand to put up his hands, Paul Drasdroff, aged 45, a Russian, was shot dead in his suburban shop by a youthful bandit who, with a companion, was interfering with the till when the pair were surprised by Drasdroff. The men escaped in the darkness before they could be overtaken by Drasdroff’s wife.
