QUEEN CARNIVAL. (From Our Correspondent.) At the concluding ceremony in connection with the Wairio Queen Carnival on Saturday evening Mr T. Egan, chairman of the carnival committee, thanked everyone for their assistance in making the carnival a success. Mr Dennington, chairman of the Country Princess Committee, returned thanks to his supporters, and Mr J. J. Finn, chairman of the Town Princess Committee, also thanked those who had helped to put the Town Princess at the head of the poll.
