SAVOURY MEAT PIES. 11b Fether-Flake, 11b minced beef (raw), 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper to taste, 1 grated raw potato and carrot. Put meat, vegetables and water to simmer in saucepan one hour. Thicken with one tablespoon flour and leave till cold. Line small patty tins with thin rounds of Fether-Flake. Put some of the meat mixture in, cover with another round of Fether-Flake. Bake 15 minutes—or can be baked on one large plate. Fether-Flake makes every woman pastry perfect.
