FIRST CAUCUS OF SESSION. (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) Wellington, June 28. The first caucus of the Coalition Party was held this evening, the proceedings lasting for nearly four hours. “We had a very good meeting,” said the Prime Minister, Mr Forbes. “The business of the session was discussed and other matters were brought forward by members. The following resolution was passed: ‘That this meeting of Coalition members congratulates the Government on its success in handling the very difficult situation during the past three years and assures it of continued loyalty and support.’ ” Mr Forbes said that all the members of the Coalition were present or accounted for.
