BRITAIN’S RETURN FROM SHARES. (British Official Wireless.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, June 14. The amount to be received by the British Government in dividend and statutory interest on its shares in the Suez Canal Company for the year 1933 is estimated at £2,312,000 compared with £2,342,000 for 1931 and £2,057,000 for 1932. Approximately 55 per cent, of the net tonnage passing through the canal is British.
