AIRMAN’S ESCAPE

PLANE CATCHES FIRE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 12.5 a.m.) Paris, June 12. The airman Koubala was towing the famous Austrian glider, Robert Kronfield, near Limoges when his aeroplane caught fire. Kronfield detached his machine and landed safely in a field Koubala made a forced landing and just managed to jump clear from the burning plane before it was completely destroyed.
