JAPANESE CABINET OFFICIALS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Tokio, May 25. For the past week the newspapers have devoted columns daily to rumours of the possibility of the Cabinet resigning, due to the arrest of the ViceMinister Kuroda and several other high officials in the Finance Ministry accused of corruption in office, the assumption being that Mr Takahashi might resign, thus assuming the responsibility for such scandal of his Ministry. Mr Takahashi being one of the key men of the Cabinet, the latter would collapse as a result.
