MOTOR PARTS

AMERICAN MACHINES. ALLEGED JAPANESE IMITATIONS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7.0 p.m.) Sydney, May 25. Plaintiffs in the Equity Court here complained that imitative spare parts of a certain well-known American motor car were being imported into Australia from Japan in large quantities and sold to dealers at prices far below those bearing the trade mark of the patentees with the result that the court granted an injunction restraining three Sydney firms froth selling parts which infringed the brand and trade mark of this particular car. It was alleged that the vendors made considerable profits from the transactions.
