TASMAN FLIGHT
DEPARTURE DELAYED ADVERSE WEATHER REPORT STARTING THIS EVENING (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, April 10. Rain caused a postponement of Mr C. T. P. Ulm’s departure for New Zealand till to-morrow. Mr Ulm stated that he received an unfavourable weather report, indicating bad weather and rain all the way to New Zealand, with poor visibility. Mr Ulm announces that the flight to New Zealand will begin at 5 p.m., Sydney time, to-morrow from Richmond Aerodrome. The closing time for the air mail has been extended to 11 a.m. to-morrow. Mr 1 L. J. Schmidt, the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, states that 20,000 specially printed envelopes brought by the Monowai from New Zealand were rushed by people who thronged the New Zealand offices the whole of today. _________
